One, Two, Three...Four

One more thing...this one is sort-of, slightly, ever so major, I'm pregnant! About 10 weeks to be exact. There was a little discrepancy about the due date, so another ultrasound at our next doctor's appointment should give us a better idea. Right now, we think the due date will be around May 17th. MCM and baby #2 will be almost exactly 23 months apart! I figure if can't have twins, at least we can have siblings very close in age. If it doesn't kill me, it will be so much fun in the future!

So far, this pregnancy has not been the easiest. I've been sick a LOT, which I wasn't at all with MCM. In general, I've felt a great deal of hormonal upheaval in addition to pretty constant nausea. Being sick and exhausted and caring for a busy toddler definitely has a way of coloring a pregnancy in a negative light, but last week I began to feel as if I was turning a corner in that department. Hopefully, now I will start having the energy to enjoy this a bit...to think about the precious little being that is growing right now inside me. What a miracle! I know in my heart that MCM needs a sibling, and our family is not complete...this is a great blessing, but I am asking for your prayers as we get used to the idea of becoming a family of four. Please pray for wisdom as we prepare MCM to receive a sister or brother, and please keep our family in your prayers as we collectively adjust to all of the changes pregnancy brings - good and bad!
